Kid Rock’s Bud Light Controversy
Daily Mail reported that Parton, 77, collaborated with Kid Rock, 52, on the song “Either Or” for her upcoming rock n’ roll album.
Liberals have been fuming over this collaboration, as they are still out to cancel Kid Rock for a viral video he posted earlier this year in which he shot up cases of Bud Light in the wake of the brand teaming up with the transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney for a partnership back in April.
Kid Rock then played a huge role in launching the highly affective boycott of Bud Light that has cost the company over $395 million in the months since, according to CNN.

Parton Defends Kid Rock Collaboration
Despite the backlash that Parton has received for her duet with Kid Rock, however, she’s refusing to back down and is instead defending her friend.
“I did a song with Kid Rock on this album,” Parton told The Hollywood Reporter. “Of course I did that before the controversy that he had, but somebody was talking to me the other day, ‘How could you do this [song] with Kid?’”

“I said, ‘Hey, just because I love you don’t mean I don’t love Kid Rock. Just because I love Kid Rock don’t mean I don’t love you,’” she continued. “I don’t condemn or criticize. I just accept and love.”
Parton went on to say that she likely would have collaborated with Kid Rock on this song regardless of his Bud Light controversy.
“Like I said, I had done that before, but I’d have probably still done it, because he is a gifted guy, and that song was about a bad boy,” Parton explained. “It was about a boy that was cheating and mistreating her.”
“But like I say, I love everybody,” she added. “I don’t criticize, I don’t condone nor condemn. I just accept them. But anyhow, just because I love you don’t mean I don’t love Kid Rock in that God way.”

Parton Slams Cancel Culture
Parton went on to give her thoughts on cancel culture, a phenomenon that she described as being “terrible.”
“We all make mistakes,” she said. “We don’t all get caught at it. But also when somebody makes a mistake, it depends on who they are. That’s what God is there for.”
“Now, I happen to believe in God; I’m a faith-based person, so therefore I am able to see it like that,” she continued. “A lot of people don’t, but even still, everybody deserves a second chance. You deserve to be innocent until you’re proven guilty. Even when you’re proven guilty, if God can forgive you, so can I. If God can forgive you, we all should forgive one another.”
Kid Rock is just one of many celebrities that Parton collaborated with on songs for her “Rockstar” album, with others including Chris Stapleton, Elton John, John Fogerty, Miley Cyrus, Sheryl Crow, Stevie Nicks, Sting and more.

Most entertainers wouldn’t have the guts to stand by a proud conservative patriot like Kid Rock, but Parton has never been like the average celebrity. In the end, Parton is one of a kind, and we applaud her for standing by her good friend Kid Rock despite pressure from the leftwing cancel culture mob to turn her back on him!
